A Roberts Book Minute

Finished reading Gabriel's Angel by Nora Roberts tonight. I picked it thinking that it would fit the season.

Well, it started in the winter but it really wasn't a Christmas book. The heroin Laura is pregnant running from her deceased husbands parents. She meets Gabe in a close call and is stranded with him at his cabin.

From there Roberts shows the strength of a mother and the healing power of love. Sometimes you have to meet controversy head on and as in real life sometimes a person can make it into something bigger than it really is.

It was a good book in that it followed in what a person can really feel in such a situation. For me this book was in the nice category.
